I woke to see this work exactly as you see
it here. Yes, I dream in color and I was
lucky enough to get another gift via the
subconscious. Upon awakening, I quickly
sketched the composition and labeled the
colors before the image could fade from
memory. To achieve such an accurate
likeness to the dream image, it did take
me well over a year’s time of revisiting the
sketch to determine the proper method of
execution. This painting should serve as a
reminder to us all. We need to keep our
eyes and minds open if we are to
appreciate the magical gifts that the life
experience will present to us every day, if
we are simply ready to receive the gift.
